Service

01 Acceptance & eligibility

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you can form a binding contract and are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

02 Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.

03 Plans & billing

• Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance each month, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Price changes. We may change prices; we will give reasonable notice before changes affect your next renewal.
• Usage limits. Plans include channel and clip allowances as described at purchase. Exceeding limits may require an upgrade.

04 Your content & license

You retain ownership of the streams, videos, and clips you provide or create with the Service ("Your Content"). To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and modify Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service, such as detecting moments, generating captions, and reframing footage.

You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others or violate any law.

05 Connected platforms

The Service reads from stream platforms (Twitch, Kick, YouTube, TikTok), can publish clips to accounts you connect (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), and can deliver clips to destinations you connect (Google Drive, Discord, Telegram). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and you agree to comply with them. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, and they may change or restrict access to their services at any time.

• YouTube. The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
• Posting on your behalf. We publish a clip only when you schedule it, to the account you chose, with the caption you wrote. You are responsible for what you post and for having the rights to it. Platforms may place limits on published content, such as visibility or review, that are outside our control.
• Automatic delivery. When you connect a delivery destination, every new clip is sent there until you disconnect it. Anyone with access to that folder, channel, or chat will be able to see those clips.

06 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content you do not have the rights to use.
• Upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative of minors.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission.
• Use the Service to violate the terms of any connected platform.

07 Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, design, and branding, is owned by ReelShift and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to use the Service except as expressly permitted.

08 Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to legal@reelshift.app with the information required under applicable law. We may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.

09 Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that clip detection will be accurate, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that the Service will meet your requirements.

10 Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReelShift will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11 Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period.

12 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
